Performance

The 2023 SRT Redeye Jailbreak comes with an astonishing supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI high-output SRT V8 engine. This configuration is the picture of what performance with a growling V8 engine can be. It produces 807 horsepower and 707 lb.-ft of torque. Jailbreak is available for 2023 for all the SRT models with standard 717 horsepower.

The standard Charger for 2023 comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine. It delivers 292 horsepower with rear-wheel drive and has available all-wheel drive. It comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2023 Charger lineup also includes options for a 345 HEMI V8 engine and a 391 HEMI V8 engine.

Last Call

The Charger has been a staple among muscle cars for a long time. The future of cars is changing with hybrid powertrains becoming more popular. For 2023, Dodge has acknowledged this with a plaque under the Charger’s hood that says “Last Call.” This is their way of letting us know that this is the final model year for the Charger.

In addition to the plaque, the 2023 model offers heritage colors. These include Sublime Green, B5 Blue, Destroyer Gray, and Plum Crazy.

Racing Technology

Dodge is offering a list of features they say were inspired by the track. These cutting-edge pieces of technology include an SRT Power Chiller, Line Lock, Race Cooldown, and Launch Control with Launch Assist. The SRT Power Chiller uses the interior air conditioning to cool down the superchargers for improved performance. Line Lock helps to efficiently spin the rear tires while you wait at a red light.

The Race Cooldown technology runs the intercooler pump and radiator fan. This adjusts the temperature of the supercharger. The Launch Control feature lets you set the RPM. This way you can get going into first gear as quickly as possible.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The entry-level Charger comes with a 7.0-inch touchscreen. It also comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. The system comes with Dodge’s UConnect 4 infotainment system with integrated voice commands.

An available upgrade gets you an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 4C. This comes with a 12-month trial subscription to SiriusXM Guardian. It also comes with 4G Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities and a 3-month 1-GB trial.

The 2023 Charger is a powerful muscle car that’s bound to turn heads. Car enthusiasts will want to take a last look at Dodge’s tribute to one of their most popular models. Visit Ed Martin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram now to see our wide selection of new vehicles.
