Tradesman

The 2024 1500 lineup starts strong with the Tradesman. This truck has a 3.6L V6 engine and 8-speed automatic transmission, getting about 305 horsepower. It can tow up to 7,700 pounds and gets about 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway with a 23-gallon tank.

The Tradesman can seat six people and the driver’s seat is 4-way adjustable. For entertainment, drivers can connect their smart devices via Bluetooth and use the 5-inch display to listen to their music and take hands-free calls.

Tradesman HFE

HFE stands for high-fuel efficiency, and this model does have better fuel economy, getting 20 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway. This is achieved through a more aerodynamic design. The Tradesman HFE has 20-inch wheels and side steps to make it easier to get in and out. The front row bench in the Tradesman is replaced with two bucket seats, reducing the seating capacity to five.

Big Horn

The main difference in the Big Horn is the exterior stylings. It has 18-inch wheels and chrome bumpers and grills. Its interior is carpeted and has a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Big Horn has the Tradesman 6-passenger capacity but keeps the HFE’s fuel efficiency.

Laramie

The Laramie is a big upgrade with leather seats, a power-adjustable driver seat, lumbar support, heated seats and steering wheel, and dual-zone air conditioning. It has a smaller bed but includes several feature upgrades such as forward collision mitigation and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. It’s a much more high-tech take on the classic 1500.

Rebel

The Rebel is similar to the Big Horn, with a higher ride height, performance shocks, and tow hooks designed for off-roading power. It has five seats, forward collision mitigation and warning systems, and a 26-gallon tank.

Limited Longhorn

The Limited Longhorn has even more features than the Laramie, with 8-way adjustable seats, 4-way lumbar support, second-row ventilation, and a larger 12-inch display. It also has remote start technology, 20-inch wheels, and a 26-gallon tank.

Limited

The Limited 1500 has a 5.6L V-8 engine capable of producing 395 horsepower. It’s capable of towing over 8,000 pounds and has 20-inch wheels. This trim level also introduces blind spot detection warning systems and has high-quality leather seating.
