Grab a Cup of Joe at These 6 Fantastic Anderson Cafes
1. Jackrabbit Coffee
The Jackrabbit coffee shop is a charming little shop with an open, airy, farmhouse vibe. They have a substantial coffee menu, offering both the classics and specialty drinks. They also serve some tea drinks as well, like the very popular London Fog. As far as food, you won’t find much here but the pastries they serve are delicious. When the weather is willing, you can lounge on their newly built deck.
2. The Toast Cafe
If you’re looking for coffee without all of the frills, The Toast Cafe is the spot for you. You can get a great cup of regular coffee or decaf. The upside to the small coffee menu is their large food menu filled with down-home offerings like country-fried steak, biscuits with gravy, and meatloaf. It has a retro cafeteria vibe and great service.
3. Wheelers Cafe and Market
This spot is part coffee shop, part market, and part museum. On one side you have the coffee shop that has a pretty large coffee menu, baked goods, as well as sandwiches and other lite bites. On the other side of the building is the market. Stepping inside is like stepping back in time. It is staged to look like a general store from the late 1800s. It’s pretty convincing with many antiques from the time (that’s the museum part).
4. Jack’s Doughnuts
Doughnuts are definitely the best sidekick coffee could have. At Jack’s Doughnuts, you get great coffee and a huge selection of their very popular doughnuts. They have several house blends to choose from as well as a few iced coffees. Their ‘special stick’ doughnut is a local favorite for a reason. Give it a try if you stop in for a visit. If you fall in love with the coffee and doughnuts, show your love at the swag shop.
5. Falls Perk Coffee House
This is a charming establishment. The outside, an immaculate, white-washed, farm-house with a large porch (complete with fairy lights) is inviting. The inside is even more charming. Inside there are large workspaces for groups as well as comfy lounge areas if you want to relax. They have a large coffee menu and they serve up warm baked goods too. A great spot if you appreciate an artisan approach to your coffee.
6. Heaven’s Delight Bakery and Cafe
With a name like Heaven’s Delight, you can probably guess that this place is all about decadence. The desserts are big, over-the-top and delicious. They have a small coffee menu with both hot and cold coffee concoctions.
