2027 Jeep Grand Wagoneer: Trims, Prices and the Regular or Long L Choice
The 2027 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is the 3-row flagship of our Jeep lineup, offered in 8 trims and 2 lengths. Every
trim uses the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline six, so moving up the trims buys comfort and technology, not more
power. For a family shopping here in Central Indiana, the choice comes down to the regular body or the
long-wheelbase L, and to the trim that sets the cabin, the wheels and the sound system. When you are ready to
shop, browse our new-vehicle inventory.
Here is the lineup at a glance, with the drive and body each trim offers; a dash marks a detail to confirm with
us for that trim.

Key Facts
Trims: 8, climbing in 2 branches from the base Grand Wagoneer: a luxury branch that tops out at the Summit
Reserve, and the towing-focused Upland

Engine: A 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline six with an 8-speed automatic, the same on every trim
Drive: 4x4 on every trim; 4x2 on the base trim only
Seating: Listed for 7 in either length, with second-row bucket seats and a 60-40 third-row bench

rates it.

Regular
No trim gets a stronger version of this engine. What you spend moving up from the base Grand Wagoneer to the
Summit Reserve goes into the cabin, the wheels, the sound system and the driver-assistance hardware. So the
engine is a reason to buy a Grand Wagoneer, but it won't help you pick a trim.
Regular or Long L
The Grand Wagoneer comes in 2 lengths: the regular body and the long-wheelbase Grand Wagoneer L. Jeep says the
model has the most rear cargo volume and the most overall passenger volume in its class. Here is how the 2
lengths compare.

Who the Regular Length Fits
The regular-length Grand Wagoneer suits families who park in a tight garage or a busy lot, since it is shorter
and turns tighter. It also tows more than the L on every trim rated in both lengths, and it is the only length
the Upland comes in.
Who the L Fits
The Grand Wagoneer L suits families who fill all 3 rows and still need room behind the third row for luggage,
strollers or sports gear. Its extra length goes to cargo space, not legroom, so third-row riders get the same
legroom in either body. Trim for trim, the L costs more, and the price table shows the 2 lengths side by side.
Prices by Trim
The table below gives each Grand Wagoneer trim's starting MSRP at launch and its L price, excluding the $2,795
destination charge; a dash marks a figure to check with us.

At launch, the L adds $3,000 on every trim with a listed L price. On the base trim, choosing 4x4 over 4x2 also
adds $3,000 at launch. The largest jump on the luxury branch comes between the Overland and the Summit, so
compare those 2 trims closely if massaging front seats are on your list.
The Grand Wagoneer's 8 trims grow in 2 branches from the base model: a luxury branch that runs from the Limited
through the Summit Reserve, and the Upland, which adds towing hardware to the base trim.
Which Trim Should You Choose?
Which trim to look at first depends on what you need most:
If towing is the job, start with the Upland, the trim built for heavy towing.
If you want 4x2, only the base model offers it.
If comfort is the priority, choose how far up the luxury branch to go: the Limited for Nappa leather and a
powered third row, the Overland for McIntosh sound and air suspension, or a Summit trim for massaging front
seats.
Grand Wagoneer
The base trim, simply called Grand Wagoneer, is the pick for families who want the space and the core comforts
without paying for the upper trims' extras. It comes with:
Uconnect 5 navigation on a 12.3-inch touchscreen
Heated and ventilated Capri leather-trimmed seats and 3-zone temperature control
A hands-free power liftgate and Active Driving Assist
Limited
Stepping up to the Limited brings 8-way Nappa leather-trimmed seats, heated second-row seats and power seats
in the third row. It suits families who use the third row every week.
Limited Altitude
The Limited Altitude is a Limited with black exterior accents and 20-inch painted black wheels added. Choose
it over the Limited if you prefer a darker look.
Upland
The Upland is the trim for owners who tow a heavy trailer or want all-terrain tires and skid plates. It starts
from the base trim rather than the Limited, and it comes only as a regular-length 4x4. It adds:
The HD Trailer Tow Package and front and rear tow hooks
Quadra-Lift air suspension and an electronic rear limited-slip differential
A 3.92 axle ratio and the Active 2-Speed Transfer Case
20-inch painted black wheels with all-terrain tires, plus skid plates
A tri-pane panoramic sunroof, a black roof and full dark accents
Overland
The Overland suits buyers who want McIntosh audio and more cameras and parking help without moving up to a
Summit. It keeps the Limited's equipment and adds:
A 19-speaker McIntosh audio system
A 12-inch digital driver information cluster and a head-up display
A 360-degree surround view camera and an interior rear-facing camera
Parallel and perpendicular park assist
Quadra-Lift air suspension and power side steps
Nappa leather embossed seats and Silver Silk accents
22-inch premium painted/polished wheels, body-color wheel flares and tow hooks
Summit
The Summit is for drivers who want massaging front seats and a fourth temperature zone. It builds on the
Overland and adds:
20-way Nappa leather-trimmed front seats with massage
4-zone temperature control and a 10-inch comfort display
Wood interior accents
For the Summit, ask us to confirm its body lengths, towing, warranty and safety equipment on the vehicle
you're considering.
Summit Obsidian
The Summit Obsidian pairs the Summit's equipment with black exterior accents and unique tinted polished wheels
with black inserts. Go this way if you want the Summit with a darker exterior.
Summit Reserve
The Summit Reserve tops the lineup and suits families who want every comfort, including for the people riding
in the second row. It builds on the Summit and adds:
Palermo leather-trimmed seats and a suede headliner
The 23-speaker McIntosh Reference system
Ventilated second-row seats and a second-row center console
A digital rearview mirror and a front console cooler
Unique wood interior accents and unique 22-inch machine-faced wheels
Towing and Payload
A Grand Wagoneer's tow rating depends on its trim, length and drive. The Upland has the highest towing rating
among the configurations listed below; where you see a dash, ask us for that trim's figure.

The Upland's rating applies only to that regular-length 4x4 with its tow package, and Jeep says it is the
highest towing capacity in its class. On the base model, the 4x2 tows more than the 4x4 in either length. If
your trailer weighs more than 6,210 lb, the highest listed rating outside the Upland, the Upland is the trim to
look at. For an Overland or a Summit, check the tow rating and payload with us on the vehicle before you buy.
Whatever you tow, confirm the payload rating as well as the tow rating for that exact configuration.
Fuel Economy
These are the EPA-estimated ratings for the 2027 Grand Wagoneer's 4 body-and-drive configurations. The EPA lists

Choosing the L costs nothing in the combined rating at either drive, while 4x4 lowers it by 1 mpg. The larger
tank gives the L more estimated driving range at either drive configuration.
Technology and Safety
Every Grand Wagoneer trim carries the base model's touchscreen navigation and Active Driving Assist. Jeep lists
these driver-assistance features on all 7 trims its specifications cover (the Summit's list is not broken out
there; ask us):
Blind spot warning
Forward collision mitigation with left turn assist
Adaptive cruise control with traffic stop-go
Front and rear parking sensors
Among those 7 trims, the Overland, Summit Obsidian and Summit Reserve add side parking sensors. The Overland and
all 3 Summit trims also add a 360-degree surround view camera, a head-up display and parallel and perpendicular
park assist. Jeep counts over 170 standard safety and security features on the Grand Wagoneer.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gives the same star ratings to all 4 of the 2027
body-and-drive versions, and its rollover risk figure changes only with drive.

Owning One in Central Indiana
Central Indiana winters bring cold, snow and road salt, and a Grand Wagoneer bought here has to handle all 3.
Every trim comes as a 4x4, and the base trim also offers 4x2, so you can match the drive to your roads. Road
salt is also a reason to note the rust-through coverage in Jeep's warranty.

Prices at launch run from $65,000 for a regular-length Grand Wagoneer 4x2 to $104,400 for a Summit
Reserve L, excluding the $2,795 destination charge. The price table breaks those figures out by trim and
length.
The Limited brings Nappa leather, heated second-row seats and power third-row seats, and the Limited
Altitude adds black accents and black wheels. The Overland adds McIntosh audio, a head-up display and a
360-degree camera. From there, the Summit adds massaging front seats and 4-zone temperature control, the
Summit Obsidian gives the Summit a darker exterior, and the Summit Reserve adds Palermo leather,
ventilated second-row seats and the McIntosh Reference system. The Upland takes the base trim in a
different direction, with heavy-duty towing hardware, all-terrain tires and skid plates.
Choose the L if you need cargo room behind a full third row: it is 12.0 inches longer and adds 14.7
cubic feet behind the third row, for $3,000 more at launch than the same trim in the regular length.
Legroom is the same in every row of both lengths. Choose the regular length for easier parking, a higher
tow rating trim for trim, or the Upland, which comes only in that length.
Every rated version outside the Upland tows between 5,770 and 6,210 lb, depending on trim, length and
drive. The regular-length Upland 4x4 with its HD Trailer Tow Package is rated at 10,000 lb, which Jeep
says is the highest in its class. Jeep's specifications give no rating for the Overland or the Summit,
so confirm those with us on the vehicle.
No. Every trim uses the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline six, rated at 420 hp and 468 lb-ft and paired
with an 8-speed automatic. Moving up the trims adds comfort and technology, not power.
Only the base model, in either length. Every other trim comes as a 4x4.
The 2027 Grand Wagoneer's EPA-estimated combined ratings are 19 mpg for the 4x2 versions and 18 mpg for
the 4x4 versions, in either length.
Both lengths are listed with seating for 7: 2 bucket seats in the second row and a 60-40 bench in the
third.
Jeep's specifications cover 7 of the 8 trims, and for those 7 Jeep lists a 36-month / 36,000-mile basic
warranty and a 60-month / 60,000-mile powertrain warranty. Jeep also lists 60-month / unlimited-mile
corrosion perforation (rust-through) coverage and 60-month / 60,000-mile roadside assistance for them.
The Summit is the trim those specifications skip, so confirm its warranty with us.
NHTSA gives all 4 of the 2027 body-and-drive versions a 4-star overall rating, with 5 stars for frontal
and side crashes and 3 stars for rollover. Jeep counts over 170 standard safety and security features on
the Grand Wagoneer.
