2023 Jeep Wrangler

The Wrangler is available in two body styles: a two-door model and a four-door Unlimited version. You can choose from an abundance of trims. Apart from the Sport, Willy Sport, Sport S, and Freedom, the available trims are the Willy S, Sport Altitude, Rubicon, Sahara, Sport RHD, Sahara Altitude, High Altitude, and Rubicon 392. The base trim is equipped with halogen headlights, incandescent taillights, 17-inch steel wheels, and fog lights. The trim also comes with tow hooks, skid plates, and a black three-piece hard top. A variety of exterior features are added with the higher trims, such as rock-protection sill rails, power-adjustable and heated mirrors, automatic headlights, and LED fog lights. At the top of the range is the High Altitude trim, which offers side mirrors with supplemental signals, LED premium reflector headlights, LED taillights, and 20-inch aluminum wheels. The off-road-focused Rubicon 392 trim is equipped with steel rear and front bumpers, a hood with an air intake scoop, 17-inch Beadlock-capable wheels, and Mopar side graphics.

There's no shortage when it comes to engine choices either. Six engines are offered. The base 3.6-liter V-6 engine generates 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, while an available turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine produces 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Next in line is an optional 6.4-liter V-8 engine with an output of 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Diesel power is provided by a turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel engine that generates 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. You can also opt for a plug-in hybrid powertrain, which is called the 4xe. It delivers 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.

Every Wrangler trim wears a Trail Rated badge, which shows that it can withstand the harshest terrain and inclement weather conditions. Apart from excellent water-fording ability and maneuverability, each Wrangler trim offers legendary four-wheel-drive capability. If you're a keen off-roader, you'll want to take a closer look at a few Wrangler trims, though, since they offer superior off-roading capability. The Rubicon trim, for instance, is equipped with heavy-duty Dana 44 axles, heavy-duty steel skid plates, a Selec-Speed Control system, and an Off-Road+ button.

The Wrangler's cabin can accommodate either four or five passengers. With the standard 7-inch infotainment system, you receive Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, Bluetooth, SiriusXM, and eight speakers. You can upgrade the system with available features such as an 8.4-inch display, a Wi-Fi hotspot, HD radio, an Alpine audio system, and navigation. Other available features include leather upholstery, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated front seats, all-weather floor mats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.

Available driver-assist systems offered with the Wrangler include forward-collision warning, rear park assist, blind-spot monitoring with cross-path detection, and adaptive cruise control.
