2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid

The entry-level Touring L trim comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, power-adjustable and heated side exterior mirrors, a power liftgate, Stow 'n Place roof rails, and power-sliding side doors. Step up to the Limited for 18-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a hands-free liftgate, and hands-free power-sliding side doors. The top-level Pinnacle has 18-inch alloy wheels with self-sealing tires and upgraded exterior trim.

The plug-in hybrid powertrain is made up of a 3.6-liter V-6 gas engine and an electric motor. These combine to generate 260 horsepower. A 16-kWh battery and continuously variable automatic transmission complete the setup in this version of the Pacifica. Power goes only to the front wheels, and it will go from zero to 60 in about eight seconds. When equipped with the tow package, the Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid can tow up to 3,600 pounds.

The plug-in hybrid powertrain provides impressive fuel mileage, meaning more time on the road making memories. It also means you can charge the Pacifica at home. The ride in this minivan is smooth and comfortable whether you stay in town or hit the highway. The electric motor contributes to its quick acceleration, and it has an agile feel behind the wheel, making it easy to maneuver in tight parking lots and smaller spaces.

This version of the Pacifica comes only with second-row bench seats and has room for seven people. The third row folds down flat when you need extra cargo space, and all three rows of seats are comfortable. The Touring L comes with simulated leather upholstery, ambient lighting, heated front seats, and a heated, tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel. The Limited adds ventilated front seats, while the Pinnacle upgrades to quilted leather upholstery. Technology in the Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, satellite radio, and Bluetooth for up to two devices to connect at the same time. The Limited upgrades the six-speaker stereo to a premium Harman Kardon system and adds navigation. You can also get a rear-seat entertainment system with two 10.1-inch touchscreens.

Every 2023 Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid has several advanced driver's aids. These include adaptive cruise control, rear parking sensors, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning with mitigation, and forward collision warning with automatic braking. It also has pedestrian detection and a rearview camera. The optional Safety Sphere Group adds to this list of safety systems with front parking sensors, a 360-degree surround-view camera system, and an automated parking system that works in both parallel and perpendicular parking spots.
